Last night we had a frost warning. We even waited to plant most of our vegetable garden til Memorial Day like you're supposed to. Everything survived thankfully.After a photoshoot last night, Linda and I went out for something to eat. We have really enjoyed working together and I am so thankful for our friendship. On my way home I heard LeAnn Rimes new song - Good Friend and a Glass of Wine. I think it's true that a good friend and a glass of wine can be a great encouragement. "The kind of therapy money can't buy."

deutzia shrub - such a funny name for a beautiful plant! i don't think i've ever seen one before.
i always thought that waiting to plant a garden until memorial day was overly cautious. i can't remember a freeze this late in may. i'm glad your plants survived the cold.
