Last night Mike and I visited our garden plot. The ground is still frozen but the sun was bright and the evening light was lovely. We pulled some old kale stalks out of the ground and gathered up some of the left over sticks we used to identify plants. I took this picture with a new ap I just got on my iphone. 
I snapped this photo this morning. It's been so chilly it seems like spring is at a standstill. But in just this little rectangle of space it feels warm and bright.
On my walk, I took this picture with my phone camera and thought of a great quote for this time of year:
This is a fun photo I took this afternoon. In one day, the blooms were blooming and the bees were buzzing.
The snow on the side garden is melting and the crocuses are pushing through. We will have blooms soon. 
When I read Lori's question about snowdrops and crocuses I saw how you might mistake my last image as a crocus. I am posting another picture of my snowdrop so you can see what it looks like now. I haven't seen any crocuses yet, but I know they will be here soon. Stay tuned!
Well, here it is. The first snowdrop in my yard. TaDa!! These are always a surprise and sign of good things to come!
The best comment I heard about my display at the show this weekend was from a young man (probably around 19 years old):
I appreciate and am encouraged by those leaves that hang in/on there all winter long. So hang on! Spring is coming!
