there's nothing like a ripe tomato from ones own garden.
When I was young, one of my favorite summer treats was taking a salt shaker out into the midst of my Grandfather Weimer's tomato patch and eating a tomato fresh from the vine, warm from the sun, dirt and all :) Nothing more delicious! -- Judith

Last night Mike and I went to our plot and weeded up a storm. Our tomatoes are looking promising... I think I better find out how to can in a hurry!
